The Best Chainsaw Lube - Sunrise Firewood Chainsaw and PlanetSafe AIM Lubricant
What is the Best Non-Toxic Chainsaw Lubricant?
John Addleman of Sunrise Firewood in Imperial Beach, CA started out in the logging industry about 53 years ago at the age of 16. He has seen it all over the years. But being a smart man he also knows something better, faster and more effective is bound to come along sooner or later. Especially for cleaning and lubricating chainsaws.
He liked the idea of PlanetSafe Lubricants especially the ionic bonding to metal action. So Courtenay took his phone out to John's shop the other day and videoed John testing his chainsaw with PlanetSafe Lubricants.
John discovered his chainsaw ran a lot cooler and the cleanup was way faster. As John says, "AIM works on the grease, grime, and carbon based stuff like plant material and saps." In addition less heat means more production and longer lasting equipment with less wear and tear. In this video John takes apart his chainsaw after using it for about 35 to 40 minutes. The results speak for themselves.
For these demos John sprayed PlanetSafe AIM on the bar, chain and housing. We also added PlanetSafe OT to the bar oil at a ratio of 2oz per gallon of oil. Once the oil was treated we applied a light coat of AIM to the chain and the external chainsaw housing and assembly for added protection.
PlanetSafe keeps his chainsaws cleaner and operating cooler which reduces wear and tear while keeping the blades sharper longer.
This is part II of John's test of our AIM and OT products. His chainsaw bar oil was treated with PlanetSafe OT and AIM was sprayed on the bar, chain, and housing. John discovered he saved about 10 to 15 minutes cleaning the chainsaw after 2 hours of use. This translates into significant cost savings. At a time savings of about an hour a day with his 4 chainsaws John is saving around $240 per month just in labor costs. A 16oz bottle of AIM and an 8oz bottle of OT which treats 8 gallons of bar oil has a cost of less than $50 over 2 months vs a savings of $480 in labor. He will see a further cost savings due to the reduced wear and tear on the equipment. The chains will also stay sharper longer providing even further benefit and cost savings.
PlanetSafe AIM is the best non-toxic lubricant for chainsaws and will outperform the toxic lubes too. Give AIM a try.
